{Let’s Talk About Sex} A Recipe For Solid Relationships Between Black Girls and Boys

I’m not sure who wrote or designed this poster—just that my blog friend Chantily Patino of BiCulturalMom.com posted it on my personal facebook page. There’s no need, really, for me to expound on the message at hand; it’s as hard and true as it gets. As it needs to be. So let the church say, “Hallelooyer” and “A-To-the-Men.”

  1. This is right on time! My latest blog post is on sex and how it’s viewed. Not necessarily in the same context but it is close.

  2. Love this, really. It gave me goosebumps. I’m Mom to a young daughter who I fiercely protect. I strive every day to ensure that I am equipping her with the right tools to make good decisions now and later. It’s scary to think that I can’t always hold her hand. It’s scary that there are people out there that may one day try to take advantage of her. But it starts now. It starts with our young daughters and sons.

    Thanks for sharing.

  3. MM MMM MMM. I am about to post this one too! Touch and Agree!

  4. I saw this in my news feed as well, and now have it as my desktop photo.
This is perfect timing as me and my big girl are reading “Letters to a Young Sister” together.
