Stay MyBrownBaby Fresh: Subscribe Before Google Friends Connect Disconnects

MyBrownBaby Friends,

Happy Friday! I’d like to send each of you a warm thank you and an (e)fist bump for being a part of what I truly think is one of the most dynamic, thought-provoking, awesome communities for African American moms on the web: MyBrownBaby. Everything I do, every word I write is with a deep and abiding respect for who we are, where we’ve been, what we’ve done and where we’re going as the parents charged with the awesome responsibility of raising the next generation of beautiful brown people.

Soon, Google Friend Connect, the Google tool that allows you to see new blog posts from MyBrownBaby.com, will no longer allow updates on blogs hosted on WordPress platforms. Which means that as of March 1, you will no longer be able to see MyBrownBaby.com updates in your Google Friends Reader. *in my Bernie Mac voice* That’s that buuuull.

But that doesn’t mean the end for you and MyBrownBaby. No ma’am (sir!) it doesn’t. You can make sure you don’t miss one, juicy drop of MyBrownBaby.com by subscribing to the email version of MyBrownBaby, which arrives in your email box once a day whenever new posts are up.

Come on and get you some!

Again, thanks for being a part of the most awesome community of black moms and moms of children of color on the web. You are appreciated!
