MyBrownBaby Fresh: THE PLANET BOX
by Denene Millner — Feb 3, 2011
It's cute, it's eco-friendly, and what kid can resist eating fresh fruit and crunchy veggies out of a lunchbox this delicious? It's the Planet Box, a non-toxic, food-grade stainless steel lunchbox that keeps food organized, unsquished and fresh. Your baby can dress it up with colorful magnets; you can clean it up by popping it in the dishwasher. Plastic sandwich and paper lunch bags? Bye! This eco-lunchbox makes PB&J a real happy meal.
Planet Box, $34.95 $59.95 @ PlanetBox.com.

These are so friggin cute! Have to get one :o)
Right?! It’s a little pricey, but I figure over time it would more than make up for the massive amount of baggies we buy. And plus, the plastic and material lunchboxes get kinda scuzzy, no matter how much you wash them. AND it keeps hot food hot if you get it with the insulated bag—huge BUENO for my girls, who like to take leftovers to school.
Not for my KG-er who is going through a Lunchables phase, but definitely for this BrownMommy! Thanks for sharing!
You now it’s my pleasure! Yes, it’s definitely adult-friendly! If I carried lunch to work, I’d be all over this one, too!
OK…I am officially in love! I have to get Ja’Naya one of these. Maybe it will encourage her to actually eat her lunch when she’s at school!
I mean, it’s cute. But if it works the small miracle of getting our kids to actually eat their fruits and veggies? SCORE!
