Remember the fabulous McGhee Sextuplets? We featured this beautiful family on MyBrownBaby back in October, a month after Mia and Rozonno McGhee brought their beautiful babies home. Rozonno Jr., Isaac, Josiah, Elijah, Madison and Olivia are the first set of sextuplets to be born in Columbus and only the second set in all of Ohio. And they are the stars of one of the most delicious pictures you ever did see.
And, after months of rallying for financial help for the family, The McGhees got the mother of helping hands this week when the family of eight graced the stage of The Oprah Show. The famously generous and big-hearted Oprah teamed up with Walmart to give the McGhee Sextuplets a $250,000 store credit at their local Walmart store! Walmart also gave several hand-truck loads of diapers, formula, clothes, strollers, clothes, toys and more to the family, which is living off the salary Rozanno makes at his self-owned carpet and upholstery cleaning business.
This was such an amazing gift for the family, which brought home their six babies to little fanfare and not much more than a proclamation from a local official and six onesies from a local university. After the story of the miracle births of all six babies (and the lack of support traditionally extended to multiple birth families who are not brown), the McGhees’ community came together to help the young couple taking up collections, holding a community-wide “baby shower,” finding the family a used van big enough to accommodate the family and volunteering to help with the hectic day-to-day task of feeding, bathing, clothing, diapering and playing with six children. But the biggest helping hand by far has come from Oprah a store credit that will go a long way in helping the couple, which goes through 36 diapers, 24 bottles and 12 bowls of cereal A DAY just to keep the group of 8-month-olds clean and fed. And they seem to handle it with such grace, as displayed in their segment on Oprah.
Oprah, who introduced the McGhee Sextuplets to the world the same day that she debuted Celine Dion's miracle twins during a private tour of the singer's Florida fantasyland, also arranged for the McGhees to take the honeymoon trip they never had; with Celine’s help, Oprah hooked up the McGhees with a suite and full-time, on-call butler for a four-day stay at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. Celine also gave the couple two prime seats to her show at the posh hotel.
God bless the McGhees and their incredible babies and Oprah, Walmart and Celine for their generous contribution toward this beautiful family.

I’ll have to tune in later on to see them but they sure are adorable. I can only imagine the lack of sleep that comes from raising so many little ones at one time.
I’m not going to ruin it for you guys.. but the show was awesome.. and those precious lil chocolate babies just made my heart melt. I’m currently struggling with infertility, so I often find it hard to watch shows about babies but I just happened to flip the channel and see this six beautiful babies on Oprah and my heart stopped. They are so precious and their parents are truly blessed.
Well, I’m sure Oprah will have some wonderful gifts and things for them. I will have to make sure to set my DVR so that I don’t miss it.

This is a brand new Clothing line – selling direct only like Mary Kay.- We are also selling in Ecuador and planning to donate some of the profit to orphans in Ecuador and will also affiliate to the Leukemia foundation.
